Heart medicaitons are non negotiable and need to be taken wheter yor are on vacation or not. It is no small thing to simply forget to take one's medicine if one has CVD. While going on vacation is ideally relaxing and an be a time to forget one's worries, sadly, medications and taking them are not negotiable. Vacation can mean leaivng one's worries behind, but that does not include one's illnesses.
That is why, before you leave on vacation, it is best to consult with your doctor in regards to one's physical health and one's capability. Furthermore, research medical options in the area such as clinics, hospitals, and whether or not they offer what you need, should something go wrong. Hopefully nothing will, the key word being 'hopefully.'
I say this because I, and some people I know, have had a few close calls because of traveling to places that didn't have the medical care we required in hope for the best... I would not recommend the risk. so take it from me: it is better to be safe than sorry.
Also, if you have the option, try to get 3 month supply of medicaitons before you leave. Just incase some medical, political, or accidental act of fate delays one from returning home, it is best to have extra.
For your health and heart, stay safe and have a wonderful trip!
